EASY Matcha Latte Recipe

Here is a super fast, easy, and WAY healthier alternative to your morning coffee!

My son has had croup for the past week, and wakes up at 2:20 am every night from coughing and congestion. He’s a toddler now, so my body is NOT used to having to get up and STAY UP all night like when he was a newborn.

“Medic! I need an IV of caffeine STAT!”

So, because I was not only in need of a serious pick-me-up, rather a pick-me-up-and-hold-me-up-or-I-will-fall-on-my-face kind of thing, I doubled the recipe (as seen in the picture below) and I used Sweet Matcha Energy Powder to make my matcha latte, which is why you can see little brown specs in the photos. I swear it’s not dirt, it’s Gaurana.

“Guarana is the highest source of caffeine available in nature. Guarana seeds contain 2.5 times the amount of caffeine that coffee does!”

Sweet matcha powders come with organic pure cane sugar already mixed in, so you don’t have to worry about adding any sweeteners; lots of flavors to choose from like- CinnamonChocolate, and ones that contain chia seeds, a vitality blend, and organic options.

Not everyone has a fancy espresso machine at home OR is willing to spend half their paycheck for a simple drink at a coffee shop. Now you don’t have to! I’ve done all the research and tested countless methods of making a coffee shop worthy matcha latte right at home, that even you picky coffee snobs will appreciate.

Apparently frothing milk basically requires a college degree (baristas take their job very seriously)

HOW you make it from home, using just a microwave and mason jar!
