A toasty drink for a pairing with some Turkey!
And incredibly, a very special Turkey Day is coming very, very soon! Not only has this year sped by, but this incredible holiday is speeding towards us. With Thanksgiving fast approaching, this slow cooker tea is bound to be a delicious hit with family and friends while delightfully pairing with your favorite holiday foods. When it's cold outside, just throw the ingredients in and turn on the slow cooker while you prepare other mealtime favorites. You'll be toasty in no time!
Organic Ceylon (from Sri Lanka) is one of my very favorite teas. Not to be confused with its partner, Organic Ceylon Green, Organic Ceylon is a black tea with a medium body and hints of citrus. It is not incredibly heavy, creating a balanced taste and flavor you'll love. Interestingly enough, Organic Ceylon is frequently used in wine due to its versatility and ability to compliment spice and chocolate, as well as citrus. Not too bold and not too quiet, our Organic Ceylon is sure to be a favorite of any black tea lover.
And that is why it is the perfect ingredient in a recipe for Cranberry Apple Slow Cooker Tea – its balanced, citrusy flavor is the prime compliment for a fruity and toasty tea recipe. Stay tuned also to see it featured in a positively delightful tea cocktail recipe that is sure to blow your mind!

- 2 cups cranberry juice
- 3/4 cup fresh cranberries

- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 3-5 tea bags of Organic Ceylon (black tea)
1.) Place all ingredients in a 5-quart slow cooker.
2.) Set on high and cook for 30 minutes. After the 30 minute timer, squeeze and remove the teabags.

Could it be simpler than that?
I'm not so sure that it could. Sit back, relax, and enjoy while relishing time with family and friends during the special coming holiday!
