Iced Tea
On busy, warm summer day, just water might not cut if to keep you hydrated. Weather you are busy working, running between sports practices and games, on a summer adventure or just getting work done around the house, increasing hydration is so important.
The idea of a "stacked water" has been all over the internet recently. The idea is simple, add ingredients to your water to help boost hydration and make the water taste better. To us, that sounds like exactly what tea does.
For this recipe, we are highlighting the Organic Hydration Tea. This tea is a blend of 10 different herbs that combine to help hydrate the body, calm the nervous system and reduce inflammation.
Ingredients
- 2-3 teaspoons Organic Hydration Tea
- Coconut water
- 3-4 strawberries
- 5 cucumber slices
- Half of a lime
- Pinch of sea salt
- Optional: A splash of your favorite juice
Directions
Step 1
Steep your tea leaves in 1 cup of nearly boiling water for 5-7 minutes. Set aside to cool
Step 2
Muddle strawberries and mint in your cup then add ice.
Step 3
Add in cucumber slices, and pour in the cooled tea.
Step 4
Top with coconut water and stir in a pinch of salt.
Step 5
Garnish with mint and enjoy!
