Cycle Support Sweet Treat

Craving something sweet, but with some added benefits? Try these brownies made with herbs that help relieve PMS symptoms. This recipe features Organic Cycle Support Tea from Full Leaf Tea Co.  The blend features a refreshing tart flavor from lemon verbena and schisandra berries, making it a delicious and beneficial choice for supporting your cycle and a perfect addition to these brownies. After the brownies are baked, the tea flavor is subtle but the added benefits from the herbs are infused into these little treats.

Organic Cycle Tea is a thoughtfully crafted herbal blend designed to support women’s hormonal balance and overall wellness. This caffeine-free tea combines nourishing botanicals traditionally used for hormone support, including schisandra berries, shatavari root, vitex berries, holy basil, lemon verbena, and saw palmetto. Together, these herbs create a gently herbal, slightly citrusy infusion that can help promote balance throughout the menstrual cycle while providing a calming daily wellness ritual. Enjoy it hot or cold as a natural way to support your body’s rhythms.

Chocolate, Sweet Potato and Coconut Sugar

Chocolate, especially dark chocolate is packed with nutrients. Dark chocolate contains fiber, iron and magnesium which are all helpful during your menstrual cycle.

Sweet potatoes are high in potassium which can help with cramps and bloating during your period. Sweet potatoes can also help provide sustained energy without a blood sugar spike.

This recipe is refined sugar free by using coconut sugar as the sweetner. Refined sugars can lead to a blood sugar spike and increase inflammation in the body.
