HIGHLY DISAPOINTED

I was a longtime fan of this tea when it was blended in the United States. The ingredients were simply Black Tea, Blue Cornflower Petals, and Natural Flavors, and the flavor was smooth, rich, and beautifully balanced.

After reordering, I noticed the tea was now blended in Germany and the ingredients had changed. The most recent version now includes Organic Citrus Oil instead of Organic Natural Bergamot Flavor, along with Natural Caramel and Natural Fruit Flavors. Unfortunately, the taste has changed significantly.

The new blend has a much sharper, more bitter citrus note that overpowers the smooth flavor I loved in the original. I personally don't enjoy citrus oil, and it leaves a harsher finish than the previous recipe.

I'm disappointed because this used to be one of my favorite teas. If the original formulation were still available, I would gladly purchase it again. I hope the manufacturer considers bringing back the original recipe or offering it as a separate option.

A wonderful surprise

I actually got a sample of this with my order and was excited to try it, as I have only had regular Earl Grey and a variant was exciting. It did not disappoint. It had a wonderful flavor. The earthiness of a normal Earl Grey with the sweetness of a caramel and vanilla. It was very yummy so much so I have it in my cart now ready to order it so I can keep a steady supply in my home.
