There are two types of Pu-erh, Raw pu-erh and Ripened Pu-Erh. Raw pu-erh is aged over years, and ripened pu-erh is aged for less time but mimics the aging process of raw pu-erh by going through a unique piling process where the tea leaves are fermented. Both types of pu-erh can be found in a tea cake form, however the pu-erh we offer is Ripe Pu-Erh in a loose leaf form.

Awesome Pu’er! I’ve had loose leaf Puers from most of the top tier tea brands, this is at the top if not the best loose leaf Pu’er I’ve had! Luscious, smooth , full bodied and rich in deep earthy flavors, earthy is too crude a description, ripe and velvety is better, and reasonably priced too for this high quality and organic! Wooo!

I really enjoy the flavor of this fermented tea

I really enjoy the flavor of this fermented tea. I have been an avid coffee drinker all my life and since the start up of drinking Pu-erh tea my coffee drinking has decreased. That, in my mind, says it all as to my assessment of the goodness and taste.

Wow, this tea….. At first I was unsure because of the earthy fragrance. But the flavor itself is subtle, smooth, sweet, bold and delicious all at once. . I’m happy that it’s fermented and I know that it’s super good for me.
The biggest surprise for me, is that it doesn’t produce a lot of stomach acid, which is key, since sometimes I get nauseous in the morning after my tea. Love it! I also purchased the Chai flavor as well, and can’t wait to try it

This is really a great quality tea. I’ve been enjoying it and will definitely be ordering more.

I ordered this one by mistake. I intended to get the one that was chai Pu-Erh. I was going to send this one back, but could not stop myself from trying it. I'm glad I did. I'm having this one as a breakfast tea and the chai version this afternoon. Love them both!

This is a good quality pu’erh tea at a fair price. It makes a good choice as a pu’erh tea to drink everyday.

I was surprised by this loose leaf pu- erh tea. Pu-erh tea is strongly associated with tea cakes and bricks. Since the tea is grown in the mountains of southern China it was pressed intoxake for transport. Where they grow the tea, loose leaf teas are more common. This loose leaf tea expands quite a bid when brewed and produces a dark tea. This is a good choice for an everyday tea.
