Organic Goji Berries: Goji berries are grown on the goji plant which is native to Asia. These berries have become a popular superfood along with the acai berry. Organic Holy Basil: Holy basil is another ingredient that is known for many health benefits. This plant can be found natively in India and Asia and is credited for protecting against infection, lowering blood sugar and cholesterol, easing joint pain, and improving digestion.
Organic Ashwagandha Root: Ashwagandha root comes from the winter cherry which is native to the Middle East, India, and parts of Africa. This root is known for relieving stress, lowering blood sugar, increasing muscle strength, boosting fertility, improving heart health, and sharpening focus.
Organic Schisandra: The schisandra berry, also known as the five-flavor berry, is a vine plant native to the forests of China. Schisandra is praised for benefiting liver function and improving physical stamina and endurance.
Organic Shatavari: Shatavari is a variety of asparagus commonly found in the Himalayas and India. A few of its heath benefits include boosting antioxidants, reducing menopause symptoms, supporting the immune system, and treating ulcers.
Organic Gotu Kola: Gotu kola has quite a few common names including Asiatic pennywort, kodavan, and Indian pennywort. It is an herbaceous flowering plant native to New Zealand. Gotu kola is used to treat numerous ailments including Alzheimer's, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and liver disease.
