Chocolate and matcha is a favorite combination of mine. I thought that matcha would be DELICIOUS in hot chocolate but it's 100 degrees out so chocolate milk came to mind instead! Adding the coconut cream adds a beautiful creaminess and ties the whole recipe together.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon Full Leaf Tea Company Organic Sweet Matcha Cocoa

1/2 can full fat coconut cream (refrigerated)

1 teaspoon powdered sugar

1.5 cups chocolate oat milk (or other chocolate milk)

Ice

Chocolate pieces (optional)
Directions
Prepare your ingredients
Whisk 1 tablespoon of matcha powder with 4 tablespoons of boiling temperature water until frothy.
Add 1/2 can of refrigerated coconut cream and 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar to a bowl. Whisk until frothy and slightly thickened.
Assembly
Add ice to two glasses and pour half of the matcha into each glass.
Pour 1/2 of the chocolate milk into each glass on top of the matcha.
Split the coconut cream mixture on top of the chocolate milk. Add a chocolate square if desired and enjoy!
