Using brewed tea as the liquid in this recipe is a great way to add in extra benefits from herbs like ashwagandha, turmeric and ginkgo biloba.


This specific recipe uses Organic Brain Health Tea. This is a caffeinated tea blend of 6 herbs all chosen to help enhance focus and brain health.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons Organic Brain Health
  • 1/2 cup nearly boiling temperature water
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • Honey or maple syrup

  • 1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract 

  • pinch of cinnamon 

Toppings:

  • Blueberries 

  • Chopped walnuts 

Directions

Step 1

Brew the Tea: Steep your tea leaves in the nearly boiling water for 4 minute, strain the leaves and let cool. 

Step 2

Prepare the Oats: In a mason jar, or container, combine oats a cooled brewed tea. Mix together then add yogurt, chia seeds, sweetener, vanilla and cinnamon. Stir well. 

Step 3

Refrigerate Overnight: Cover the oats and refrigerate overnight or for at least 6 hours. 

Step 4

Serve and Enjoy: Stir the oats once more and add your toppings like blueberries and walnut. If you like oats extra sweet, drizzle more honey on top. Enjoy the recipe chilled.
