Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of Organic White Chai (loose leaf)
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar 
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour 
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt 
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1

Grind the Tea: Using a spice grinder or mortar & pestle, grind the Organic White Chai leaves into a fine powder.

Cream Butter & Sugar: In a large bowl, beat the butter and powdered sugar together until light and fluffy,

Step 3

Add Tea & Vanilla: Mix in the ground White Chai and vanilla extract.

Step 4

Mix Dry Ingredients: Sift together the flour and salt, then gradually add to the wet mixture. Mix just until combined (don’t overmix).

Step 5

Chill the Dough: Form dough into a log, wrap in plastic, and chill for at least 30 minutes.

Step 6

Slice & Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice dough into 1/4-inch rounds and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Step 7

Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
