There are two types of Pu-erh, Raw pu-erh and Ripened Pu-Erh. Raw pu-erh is aged over years, and ripened pu-erh is aged for less time but mimics the aging process of raw pu-erh by going through a unique piling process where the tea leaves are fermented. Both types of pu-erh can be found in a tea cake form, however the pu-erh we offer is Ripe Pu-Erh in a loose leaf form.

Delicious tea

I have tried this tea on various occasions and have found it fits into a lot of situations where I drink tea. It isn't as strong as early grey or breakfast blend, but it does have more kick than white tea. It is great for the morning if you want a gentle pick-me-up, but want something with a stronger taste than green tea. I also drink this in the middle of the day when I am in the mood for a savory tasting tea. I use stevia and monk fruit to sweeten the tea, but it also tastes fine without anything.
