Matcha Frother

I love this company's products, but this Matcha Frother is a waste of money. I might as well have ordered it from the Temu version of Wish. Flimsy, goes through batteries like crazy, and the Frother part disengages if the wind blows the wrong way outside.
Don't waste your money.

The wand part of this frother relies on a friction, press fit on to the drive shaft. There's a small, black, plastic cup with tiny hole in it that simply presses on to the motor shaft.

So after about a month, the wand will pop off when you are frothing. If you press it on snugly, the wand won't spin. Too loose it comes off. This gets progressively worse over time. If you attempt to wedge the wand on, say with a bit of paper slid into the hole, the tiny bit of off center pressure makes the wand "whip" about since it's off center.

Otherwise the device is solid. Nice machined barrel for the battery, with screwed on caps holding the motor in place, and the battery. If they could adapt a better means to keep the wand attached, it would be well worth the $20 price.

With new batteries and screwed in tightly, it does an awesome job. But it goes thru batteries quickly if you use it everyday and it likes to spontaneously stop working and I have to remove the batteries, then put them back in or just remove and replace the wisk end, making sure it has good contact. Great idea; it just needs to be refined.

When I first got it the wand wouldn't stay in and they replaced the unit. I thought it was just a defective wand. I've have had it for about 6 moths and the new one is doing the same thing, the wand kept falling out. So I glued it on. It doesn't always sip correctly in a tight circle. I wouldn't buy it again. I've looked at the other reviews and nothing is said, maybe it's me? It's great for the tea, it really makes a great froth.

This broke on me 10 days after I received it with daily use. When it was working it was awesome but I cant justify paying 20 if it's going to break again.

I been using this product and I enjoy how it gives me the same results as a Mach’s late from the caffe!!! Now I can do it at home:smiley:

Built well, It should last a long time, and it works great with making Matcha tea.

we wanted a frother that was not so big and would easily fit in the silverware drawer. This model was perfect

This thing is so bad I wasted my money on a bowl and I will NEVER use this company ever again. They sent me a geothermal because the first one would not work. The second is not working either. Now I cannot enjoy my expensive bowl. Shame on you for stealing my money.

I'm not sure if the issue is with how I froth or the actually frother-- I just feel it could use a bit more horsepower to have the hot macnut milk and oatmilk I froth a little more fluffy. that said, I use it nearly everyday and it basically does the trick.

I love all my products I’ve received, but I’m sorry to say this didn’t have much strength and didn’t froth as well as others I’ve used...

It’s more sturdy than the kind you buy at Ikea but it’s still a bit delicate so don’t drop it, and be gentle washing it…I’m hoping it last a good amount of time too.

I am very disappointed in the quality of the frother. The first one broke (black plastic part) so I asked for a replacement and got it. But this new one does not work either. The frother stem does not fit into handle. (the black plastic part must be defective).
