Instructions

Add 1/2 teaspoon of matcha powder to 4 oz of short-of-boiling temperature water.
Use the bottle to shake the matcha until it becomes frothy.
For best results, use filtered water (water can really affect the taste of the tea if it is not filtered).

Amazing!

I ordered the testosterone tea blend as well as the tea for her. My husband loves the tea before bed. The flavors of both are really good. The Mullen tea is also great. After two days of drinking it I wake up coughing out things from my lungs. It makes me feel a lot better after drinking it for a week. My heavy smoking husband says that he benefits from it as well.

I love the ceremonial grade matcha and it is so convenient now with the stainless steel travel bottle. I have found that the tea clumps if I only shake it in the bottle. To avoid that problem I just stir the tea into a little water in my glass measuring cup that has a pour spout and then pour it in my travel bottle with more water. It's an extra step but it's quick and easy and prevents the clumps. I have also put loose leaf tea in the travel bottle and it's great! The bottle keeps the tea hot for a long time. I use it almost everyday.

The kit was fine. I'm not overly fond of the match taste - this was my 1st try.
The thermos works well. The bamboo measuring stick is useless as it is rather subjective - a plastic measuring device works more accurately.

Infuser would work well for Matcha but is way too small to add loose leaf tea to to allow it to expand which was what I was looking for.

I love the thermos, I take it to work and it keeps my tea warm. Matcha tea is delicious as well.

Disappointed

It is very difficult to get the matcha to dissolve putting it in the basket. Better off using a blender. And the flavor of the matcha is bitter and needs so sweetner. Was hoping I wouldn‚Äôt need to add anything.

Thank you for your order! I am so sorry that you have not been happy with the on the go kit. I wanted to double check how you are making the matcha because that can really affect the taste. The bottle works best if you put your scoop of matcha in the bottom, add your hot water, put the infuser in place and close the lid, and then shake the bottle for about 30 seconds. Shaking the matcha is very important because that is how you get it to mix into the water. Matcha is interesting because it never actually truly dissolves, if you let it sit for too long it will start to separate from the water again.

I love my matcha on the go kit. The matcha is delicious and I make iced matcha lattes to go... so easy!

Ok. Not great

I don‚Äôt know why this kit is advertised for matcha. It‚Äôs really more for a loose leaf tea than the powder that is matcha. It would work fine as an infuser or for carrying tea for later. I don‚Äôt see the logic to having the tea strainer on the bottom of the carafe. It would steep too long if there was no way to empty the container, say for instance, if you had it driving to work. Your tea would just get stronger as you drink. Still, it is nice quality.

Thank you for your feedback! The bottle can be a bit confusing to use at first, so here are a couple tips to get the most out of your on-the-go kit! :) When making matcha in the bottle, it works best if you actually put a scoop of powder inside the infuser basket, add water through the top of the bottle, and then shake it. The reason it works so well, is because the tiny holes in the infuser help agitate the matcha similar to the way a whisk would froth up the matcha. It is a great way to make matcha quickly if you don't have time to whisk it. Plus you can keep shaking it again if you don't drink the matcha fast enough and it starts to settle.
For making loose leaf tea it also works best if you place the tea inside the infuser basket. If you want to remove the tea after steeping it for a few minutes, just turn the bottle upside down, unscrew the bottom, and pull out the infuser to dump the tea out. Then put the infuser back into the base, and screw the base back on to the bottom. Hope this helps!

Matcha Not-So-Mucha

I purchased the Matcha tea, the bamboo spoon, and the glass infuser. I also received a sample of the Rooibos tea which I fell in love with: enough to swear off coffee!! I tried making the Matcha tea with the glass infuser (well, I took out the infuser and just used the bottle as a shaker). I think I need to make the Matcha in the more traditional way, as it had some sediment at the bottom of the bottle, toward the end. I will purchase a sive, rounded bowl, and whisk and keep trying. Meanwhile, I do love the Rooibos!!

One tip that will help the bottle work better to make the matcha is to actually leave the infuser in bottle and put your scoop of matcha inside it. This helps agitate the matcha better when you shake it! :) Hope this helps!
