This Organic Honeybush tea is amazing!! I am using it as a low-tannin replacement for my beloved black tea. It's very smooth with a deep rich flavor. It's quite drinkable as a main tea on a daily basis with a variety of dishes. It has no bitterness or unusual aftertaste. Perfect!!

I brew it with a little peppermint tea, and it is so refreshing. And the peppermint soothes your tummy after a meal. I have to keep extra batches on hand for my son and his friends.

I love honeybush. If you drink rooibos on the reg and need something a bit different and fully flavorful all by itself without all the added stuff watering down the flavor. This is beyond fantastic.

I add a little honey bush to my herbal teas to sweeten them and provide a nice balancing flavor, especially with herbs that can taste a bit harsh or medicinal. It sweetens everything without adding sugar!
I used to get honeybush from So. Africa, but something happened to that company and I needed to find another source. Full Leaf Tea to the rescue. :) Their honeybush is even better than the one I have been drinking for years. Highly recommend.
Very good quality tea. The sweetness is very pleasing to me so I add a half of tea spoon to other teas to avoid adding other ingredients like honey or sugar.
I discovered Honeybush in south Africa. Nelson Mandela's favorite. It's great in the evening... no caffeine... purported health benefits. I am so glad I found Full Leaf, so I can buy it here in the states. Quality was just as good as in South Africa.

I've never tried this type of tea before, but was pleasantly surprised. It definitely has a sweet 'honey' flavor to it. Good for an after dinner tea if wanting something a tad sweet

I tried this after they sent me a sample. I really liked it. It has a sweetness to it. I was reading How Not to Age, and it mentioned honey bush tea, which is a relative of rooibus, has been used in studies on skin aging, where after several weeks of drinking it people had a measurable decrease in wrinkle depth (I've not been drinking it very long, so I don't know yet). I seem to be falling asleep faster when I drink it a few hours before bed. So it is a win-win-win for me: tastes good, full of antioxidants that might improve my skin along with other areas, and improves my sleep. So I just ordered another bag, even though I'm not finished with my first big bag.
I received a sample of this on my 1st order and googled it. I found that it's helpful for heartburn, so I made it for my husband. He says it works as well as over the counter meds. Re-ordering now.

Does this honey bush tea contain any honey?
Honey Bush is a relative of the Rooibos family grown in the Eastern Cape regions of South Africa. Honey Bush Flower smells much like honey, hence its name. It shares all the same benefits of rooibos, but has a slightly sweeter taste. There is no real honey in this tea, just Organic Honey Bush.
