Let's dive into the details of making this Tropical Escape Coconut Mango Tea Slushy!

Let's Make a Mango Coconut Milk Tea Slushy

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons Organic Tropical Escape loose leaf tea
  • 1/2 cup of boiling water
  • 1 cup of frozen mangos
  • 1/4 cup of coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup of ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon of honey or agave
  • 1/2 tablespoon of lime juice

Directions

Step 1

Brew strong tea concentrate:

Add 2 teaspoons Organic Tropical Escape loose leaf tea to a tea infuser, strainer, or French press. Pour a 1/2 cup boiling water over the leaves and steep for 5-6 minutes.

Step 2

Strain, sweeten, and cool:

Remove the infuser or strain out the loose leaves through a fine mesh sieve. Stir in 1 tablespoons honey or agave syrup until dissolved. Cool the tea in the fridge.

Step 3

Blend:

Add the chilled tea concentrate, 1 cups frozen mango chunks, 1/4 cup of coconut milk (full-fat for creamier result), 1/2 cup of ice cubes, and 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice to a blender. Blend

Step 4

Taste and serve:

Taste and adjust sweetness if needed. Pour into glasses and garnish with a mango slice, toasted coconut flakes, or a lime wedge. Serve immediately!

Is the coconut taste strong?

Yes the taste of coconut from the coconut milk is strong, however you can add 1/8 a cup instead of 1/4 or sub coconut milk for your milk of choice!
