I ordered Holiday Cheer by mistake. I wanted Winter Brew, which I love and confused it with Holiday Cheer. I made my first pot and could not figure out what that taste was. It did not taste good at all. I kept thinking I would get used to it and it would taste like I remembered. I sweetened it and added orange and lemon flavor and I still could not get rid of that taste. I looked it up on the website and finally figured out I ordered the wrong tea. I checked the ingredients and looked up anise and found it was licorice flavor. That explained “that” taste and why I had such an overwhelming dislike for it. Licorice is probably my least favorite flavor of all time and it was all I could taste in the Holiday Cheer. For those who like licorice, this will for sure be your cup of tea!

Holiday Cheer is a yummy tea with delicious warming spices. As an oolong, the base note is slightly earthy. This made it a 4 star rating for me because I was hoping the warming spices would be more prominent than the earthiness. If earthy notes are your favorite, this would surely be 5 stars. Happy sips!

This has turned into my go to tea every morning. I love it! No need to add anything to it. I make it a little stronger than instructions say. Looking forward to buying more next winter.
The description of spices looked like it would be good. It is very good! Nice aroma and balanced tastes of spices make for a nice brew for the Autumn and Winter.

I bought this on a whim and I'm very happy I did. It's very cold and windy today so I'm stuck at home. Received this tea in the mail this morning, so I thought I'd try it today. It is really very good though it may not be to everyone's liking. I did add half a stick of cinnamon to the 2nd steep and I like it better. Pairs nicely with almond biscotti.
