For Breast Cancer Awareness month, we are partnering with a non profit that supports breast cancer patients and gives Real Help For The Other Part Of The Fight™. While in treatment, bills from patients everyday lives continue. These bills included rent, utilities, cars and more. The need to stay ahead of these essential payments could be the difference between getting treatment or not. That is a choice no one going through cancer treatment should ever have to make. This is where the Pink Fund comes in.
For almost 20 year, the Pink Fund has been helping to cover bills for patients so they can focus on getting better. This year for Breast Cancer Awareness month, us at Full Leaf Tea Co. are partnering with the Pink Fund to make this donation happen for even more people. About The Pink Fund
The Founder of The Pink Fund
Molly MacDonald founded the Pink Fund along side her husband after she went through breast cancer treatment and saw first hand the financial burden that come with treatment. It is the part of the battle that often goes unseen.
Mollys cancer diagnosis came at a time when her family was already struggling. She was in between jobs and now unable to start a new one. When Molly was seeking help, she found that there really wasn't any. She became determined that change that, and the Pink Fund was started.
The Pink Fund provides 90 days of non-medical financial aid to cover the basic costs of living expenses, such as health insurance, housing, transportation, and utilities.

Pink Fund defines financial toxicity as: when high out-of-pocket medical costs, such as copayments and deductibles, combine with lost income due to treatment protocols, creating a significant financial burden for patients.
