Hey tea lovers!

Welcome back to another Tea of the Week. This week, we are looking at a tea that has helped soothe so many people's pain; Organic Heartburn Relief

This tea is a spiced and cozy blend that soothes acid reflux and heartburn.

Ingredient Breakdown

Organic Ginger Root: Ginger root is a very soothing ingredient for nausea and upset stomachs. Ginger root has very strong anti-inflammatory properties and can prevent and soothe heartburn symptoms.

Organic Licorice Root: Licorice root is a great ingredient for helping with heartburn because of its ability to increase mucus production. Some studies have even shown licorice root to be a more effective solution to heartburn and acid reflux than the leading brands of antacids!

Organic Marshmallow Root: Marshmallow root is a very common ingredient in teas that help to soothe the throat. Marshmallow root contains mucilage which helps to coat the esophagus and provide relief from acid reflux.

Organic Slippery Elm: Slippery elm comes from a variety of elm tree and provides a similar effect to marshmallow root since it also contains mucilage. Slippery elm also has an anti-inflammatory effect which helps to heal damage caused by acid reflux in the past.

Organic Fennel: Fennel is an ingredient to help soothe stomach issues associated with the effects of acid reflux. Additionally, it can help reduce inflammation in the esophagus and stomach.

Organic Turmeric: Inflammation is a major side effect of acid reflux and heartburn. Turmeric contains curcumin which is a great anti-inflammatory and can help prevent future bouts of acid reflux.
