Gingerbread cookies are highly underrated in my opinion! I wanted to give them a chance in the spotlight combined with the delicious flavors of a matcha latte for a spiced and sweet drink!
Ingredients
-
3 teaspoons Full Leaf Tea Company Organic Premium Matcha
-
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
-
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
-
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
-
1 tablespoon brown sugar
-
12 ounces oat milk
-
1/4 cup white chocolate (optional)
-
Christmas sprinkles (optional)
-
Whipped cream (optional)
Directions
Combine the matcha, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar in a bowl. Pour over 4 ounces of nearly boiling water and whisk vigorously.
Melt the white chocolate for 30 seconds at a time in the microwave and drizzle around the rims of your cups. Pour out some sprinkles in a flat layer on a plate and dip the white chocolate-covered rims into the sprinkles. Allow to set.
Heat the milk and froth if desired.
Split the matcha mixture between the two cups and top with the hot milk. Add whipped cream and additional sprinkles. Enjoy!
