Hibiscus Spice Syrup: A Sweet and Spicy Addition to Any Drink or Dish

Looking to elevate your drinks and dishes with a unique homemade syrup? This Hibiscus Spice Syrup offers a delightful balance of sweet, tart, and warming flavors with a touch of spice from cinnamon.

Not only does it add a vibrant boost to teas and cocktails, but it’s also perfect for drizzling over yogurt, stirring into smoothies, or even sweetening oatmeal.

Plus, it's packed with antioxidant-rich hibiscus and organic ingredients that naturally support blood pressure and heart health!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of Organic Blood Pressure Tea leaves
  • 12 ounces of near-boiling filtered water
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon hibiscus
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Steep the Tea & Hibiscus
Start by bringing 12 ounces of filtered water close to a boil. Add Organic Blood Pressure Tea leaves and hibiscus, letting them steep for 5-7 minutes. This allows the full depth of herbal, floral, and tart flavors to develop. Strain the tea, discarding the leaves and flowers.

  2. Simmer the Syrup
Pour the brewed tea into a small saucepan over low heat. Add honey and cinnamon powder, stirring continuously. Simmer the mixture for about 10 minutes, ensuring the flavors meld together while keeping the syrup from boiling.

  3. Add Vanilla & Cool
Remove the pan from heat and stir in vanilla extract for a subtle depth of flavor. Let the syrup cool completely before transferring it to a glass jar or airtight container.

  4. Storage & Usage
Store the syrup in the refrigerator for up to a week. Use a tablespoon at a time to add a flavorful twist to teas, lemonades, cocktails, lattes, or as a drizzle over yogurt and desserts.
