Fall is here, and pumpkin spice season has officially arrived! While the shelves are filling up with classic pumpkin drinks, we’re excited to share a twist on the traditional Pumpkin Spice Latte. And we're biased, but we think this definitely beats Starbucks 😉


Made with our Organic Sweet Matcha Original and a rich homemade pumpkin syrup, this latte blends the earthy notes of matcha with the cozy flavors of pumpkin spice. 


Whether you prefer your matcha hot or iced, this drink is the perfect way to celebrate the season.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons Organic Sweet Matcha Original
  • 4 ounces near boiling filtered water
  • 8 ounces of your choice of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of pumpkin spice syrup
    • 1/2 cup pureed canned pumpkin
    • 1/2 - 1 cup water
    • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
    • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • Whip Cream
  • Pumpkin Pie Spice for garnish

Directions

Step 1

  • Prepare the Pumpkin Spice Syrup.
    •  Add the pureed canned pumpkin, water, pumpkin pie spice, and brown sugar to a small saucepan over medium-low heat and whisk until well combined.
    • Simmer for 5-10 minutes, adding water as needed to create a thick and syrupy consistency.
    • Refrigerate until ready to use.

Step 2

Whisk the matcha in the hot water until thoroughly frothed.

Step 3

Heat the milk in a microwave and then whisk in the syrup mixture.

Step 4

Pour the milk mixture into your desired cup then pour in the matcha.

Step 5

Top with whip cream and pumpkin pie spice.
