Hibiscus tea kombucha!

I use this tea to make a caffeine free kombucha. Since the company has been out of the other fruit infused teas I simply all my own dried fruit to this hibiscus tea. It ferments well with great results. I add fresh pineapple & lavender to the second fermentation for 2 days. Then I strain off the pineapple & lavender. Bottle & cap off for approximately 2 -3 days. I promise you it is like drinking a sparkling red wine. Caffeine free. My grand kids love this one. This tea company has some great teas to experiment with if you like to make kombucha. If you have never tried to make this tea you should give it a try. I make gallons at a time because my spouse and children love to drink homemade kombucha. I like making my own because I don't like drinking really sweet drinks. I control the sugar. I use just enough to get the first fermentation going. Awesome brew.

Refreshing tart

I have always been a fan of Hibiscus tea. When steeped correctly (very short duration) it is really good. Too long of a steep and it is REALLY tart. The aroma is always pleasant as well.
