These super simple truffles are soft and chocolatey with a kick of matcha to balance the sweetness! Mix up your sprinkle choice to make these perfect for any holiday.
Ingredients
-
1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon Organic Premium Matcha
-
12 Oreos
-
4 ounces of softened cream cheese
-
1/2 cup white chocolate
-
Sprinkles (optional)
Directions
Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs in a bag with a rolling pin or a food processor.
In a medium bowl, add the softened cream cheese and 1 tablespoon of matcha. Mix together until well combined with a spatula.
Add the Oreo crumbs into the cream cheese mixture and mix until a thick paste is achieved.
With damp hands, roll into 10 balls and put on a cookie sheet. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Melt the white chocolate in 15 second intervals in the microwave until smooth and fully melted. Mix in the additional 1 teaspoon of matcha until fully combined.
Take the truffles out of the fridge and line an additional cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
Dip each truffle into the white chocolate until fully coated and tap off the excess before putting on the aluminum foil-lined cookie sheet. If adding sprinkles, add them to each truffle right after they come out of the white chocolate since it will harden quickly.
Allow to solidify in the fridge for 10-15 minutes and enjoy!
