Organic Darjeeling First Flush is a premium loose leaf tea that is highly sought after by tea connoisseurs around the world. This tea is made from the first harvest of the season, known as the "first flush," which occurs in early spring when the tea bushes awaken from their winter dormancy.

Grown in the Darjeeling district of India, this tea is harvested by hand and processed using traditional methods that have been passed down for generations. The leaves are carefully picked and then withered, rolled, oxidized, and dried to create a tea that is delicate and nuanced in flavor.

Caffeine Content: High

Organic Darjeeling First Flush is known for its light and floral flavor, with notes of muscatel grape and a subtle hint of sweetness. The tea has a bright, golden brown color and a fresh, crisp taste that is invigorating and uplifting. Because of its delicate flavor profile, this tea is best enjoyed on its own, without milk or sugar.

  • Organic Darjeeling Tea

Add 1-2 teaspoons of tea to boiling temperature water

Let the tea steep for 3-5 minutes

For best results, use filtered water (water can really affect the taste of the tea if it is not filtered)

Organic Darjeeling First Flush

I love black teas and they are my preferred morning drink. I think of Darjeeling as a classic, smooth tea that can be made with milk and a sweetener if you like or just plain. Having tried other brands, I believe Full Leaf Tea Co has the freshest, most delicious taste. I couldn't believe the difference when I made a cup after finishing a different brand. It's a regular for me now. I also buy many other varieties from Full Leaf, always satisfies.

Not my cup of tea

I bought this sample among several black teas. It has a very pronounced bitter taste to me. Clearly, some people prefer this but not me.
To each his own. It's too bitter for me but if you were raised on this you might like it. I preferred a smoother taste. I make only iced tea with black tea. I chose the Assam but I have not yet tried the Ceylon.

Great tea!

I’ve been a fan of loose leaf tea for years. I really like this Darjeeling and will buy it again. It’s very smooth and doesn’t need anything added to it. I usual have it iced.
