I’ve drunk and reviewed this matcha a lot. But recently I’ve discovered another aspect that is hugely important for me. To save money, I’ve tried to cut back, either by drinking less frequently or drinking smaller quantities than my usual. I can’t tell you how much my mental health tanked. Everything in my body started feeling worse, and eventually I realized a lot of it was due to my mood. As soon as I went back to my regular quantity and frequency, my whole life turned around. The caffeine is helpful in keeping me moving in the world, but the L-Theanine in the matcha helps me take what the world throws at me in stride. I’ve been off my medication for my depression for a while now, and I’ve gotten my creativity back and my joy. This matcha mix is what keeps me from dipping down too far. And it’s delicious. Every time. I’ll never not drink it.
