Instructions to Steep

Masala Chai Tea

When my local chai tea company went out of business, I was desperate. I had come to depend on the whole-spice black chai tea, with no need for added sugar (and no need for coffee shop chains and syrup teas, either!). I was familiar with Full Leaf Tea after ordering slippery elm powder for medicinal purposes. I took another look at the teas, and found that Full Leaf Tea ALSO makes a whole-spice masala chai tea, with all the necessary spices in tow (and again, no need for sugar or honey). I am very happy with the tea, which is delicious on its own, or with Trader Joe's soy milk whipped up (with the tea added to the soy milk in a large mug). The quality of the tea is excellent, and it is so nice to have all the ingredients already included so that I don't have to start from scratch and find the hard-to-get whole spices (which are already in there).
